Brian Kocher is the creative force behind Big Barn Artworks and has a long resume of success during his 30 years in the horticulture industry.

A landscape architect, by education, his passion shifted to plants early in his career. Brian and his wife owned and managed a retail garden center for 20 years, grew the majority of the plants they sold and began dabbling in topiary art during these years.
Brian did double duty for 9 years as the greenhouse manager and topiary fabricator for Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Columbus Ohio. A self taught artist, he honed his skills in topiary design and fabrication during this time.

Since selling their retail garden center, they have opened a wholesale plant business alongside Big Barn Artworks offering greenhouse space and an opportunity to foster their passion for plants. Learn more about their other passion Laurel Hill Farms
